1. Warranty Coverage Your sunnies are built tough for life on the water, and we back ‘em for 12 months from the date you bought ‘em. We’ll cover: - Dodgy hinges or frames that crack under normal use - Lens coatings that peel or bubble (and not from a rogue squid ink spray) - Screws that decide to work themselves loose
2. What’s Not Covered This warranty doesn’t cover: - Scratches from wiping your sunnies with your shirt, beach towel, or the back of the bait rag - Damage from dropping them in the boat, sitting on them in the ute, or stepping on them at the ramp - Warping from leaving them on the dashboard while you’re having a servo pie - Loss, theft, or “I swear the barra ate them” stories - Normal quirks in recycled plastic frames – they’re part of their unique charm
3. Warranty Process - You’ll need your receipt or proof of purchase (a yarn down the pub won’t cut it) - Send us photos and a quick description of what went wrong - If it’s a fair claim, we’ll either: - Fix ‘em up - Swap ‘em for the same model or something close in value - Postage to get them back to us might be on you, unless the law says otherwise
4. Exclusions by Misuse No coverage if: - You’ve cleaned them with glass cleaner, acetone, or whatever was in that mystery spray bottle in the shed - You’ve had a go at fixing them yourself or with the help of “a mate who knows tools” - They’ve been run over, chewed by the dog, or used as a lure
5. Goodwill Replacement Policy We know accidents happen – if you bust your sunnies outside warranty, we’ll hook you up with a one-time 40% discount on a replacement pair within 12 months. - You’ll still need proof of purchase - The old pair comes back to us for recycling - One claim per customer per year (we’re generous, but not made of money)
6. Your Consumer Rights This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. We’re fair dinkum about that.
